AT THE MARKET:
My sunflowers are heading up pretty good, might even have a few stray ones blooming in my flowers bouquets this Saturday in Canandaigua, but if not, look for them next week in Victor's bouquets. And this week in Cheshire I'll have a few summer squash. Also made a fresh batch of catnip from some scraps of John Deere fabric for a "redneck" touch this week.

AT THE MARKET:
Flowers are still coming on a bit slowly, but the peonies have finally opened so I should have some fairly nice bouquets at the upcoming markets, with my signature hosta-leaf framing. And heads-up for those of you who attend the Cheshire market, it opens next Thursday, on the 18th!

Quote of the Week:

"Every day, I am torn between the desire to save the world and the desire to savor the world. This makes it very hard to plan the day." ~ E.B. White

AT THE MARKET:
It was a lovely day for the first Victor Market yesterday; hopefully it'll be as nice for first Canandaigua summer market this Saturday. We'll be back under the pavilion Saturday. My flowers will probably be sparse this weekend as the peonies aren't opening very quickly in the cooler temperatures, but by next week I think they should be opening nicely...hopefully in time for next week's Victor market.
