AT THE MARKET:
It's another winter market week this Saturday in Canandaigua. My squash supply is starting to get low, but I'll have a few halved squash and try to have a few stew starters. I've also got a fresh batch of beeswax tapers for your dark winter nights (at least I think it's going to be winter at some point...it's felt more like spring out there lately)

I don't usually do political posts (unless they're environmentally related) and I'm not a Muslim, but with Donald Trump seemingly trying to turn the entire country against Muslims, I thought it was important to say something.

AT THE MARKET:
It's another market week at the Canandaigua Farmers Market this Saturday. It's our holiday themed weekend so we'll all be "Christmased up" at our tables (and a vendor Santa will be there too). I'll have a few more greenery swags, some fresh beeswax tapers, halved squash, and my gourd snowmen for the season. And if the weather remains as nice as it has been, I'll come dressed in my Christmas elf costume.

AT THE MARKET:
It's another winter market this week at the Canandaigua market. I'll have a few stew starters and some peeled squash for your Thanksgiving week. Also some broomcorn swags, beeswax tapers (yes, that batch I forgot to bring last week) and even a bouquet of flowers! (When I was cleaning out the gardens this week I found a very small group of flocks and mums that had been protected from the frosts by the thick overgrowth of cosmos, and with the warm weather, the flocks have come into bloom, so I'll be arranging those in a pumpkin "vase.")

Last Canandaigua summer market of the year this Saturday (Halloween), then next week we move to the parking lot behind the Byrne Dairy for the winter market. Still have no flowers (unless those last few sunflowers that made it through the freezes finally decide bloom), but I'll have autumn/Halloween decor with me. If you can't find me, just look for the scar and glasses, I'll be the one dressed as Harry Potter!

AT THE MARKET:
Well, it's pretty much the end of my flowers. Two freezes was enough to take out even most of the sunflowers. All I've got left are a few flowers here and there that were low enough to be protected from the frost. So I won't have much (if any) flowers this week. But I do still have broomcorn, flowered gourds and also a few carved pumpkins (put in your request this week, and I'll bring it carved next week for Halloween). Also next Wednesday the 28th is the final day of the Victor farm market. Bring the kids down to trick or treat at the vendors' tables.

If it doesn't freeze, I will have sunflowers once again at the markets. My last patch is just starting to show color, so should have enough for a bouquet or two this week, and if there's no freeze, several bouquets next week. I also have a fresh batch of flowered gourds and another dried flower wreath this week.
